There’s room for improvement regarding to ‘dogs allowed’

The private parkingspace in the building, the request of my bath that was taken in notice, the vibe of the hotel, the free watertaps in the hall ways

Unfortunately you pay a lot of money for your dogs but they don’t even get a basket for water or a little welcoming present.

Easy parking and friendly staff and typical convention center type room.

Easy and safe parking in secured area of parking garage. Room was clean and staff was kind enough to allow me to check in early. Breakfast was amazing and view over river from terrace was great. Easy access to shopping Mall and Confluence museum.

It is 15 minutes by car to the old town. Better instructions on how to access the Novatel part of the parking garage which requires you to insert your parking ticket in front of the gate (inside the garage) to enter and then you get it stamped at front desk. Cost was €14 for overnight.

Very good hotel

Very good, clean hotel. Conveniently located on top of the shopping mall, so you have a good options in shopping and dining. Easy access to downtown, 20-30 mins walk or tram service, which is connected to the metro. If you drive, like me, the parking is on spot.

Helped by the weather, our stay justified the cattle market of travel.

River view excellent and essential.

No milk in rooms, no British TV channels in room. And glass partition between bathroom and bedroom was distinctly unpleasant.

Weekend catch up in Lyon!

The room has been very spacious and comfortable. I really enjoyed its overall layout and style. The soap/shampoo/shower gel were from Rituals company which I really enjoy :) I arrived by car so the it was nice to have the parking spot available over the weekend (although it was paid, understandably in the vicinity of city centre). The location was actually quite nice - it is effectively placed near the river where one could walk, but at the same it is part of the shopping centre and restaurant complex with availability of many food chains around. During the stay I walked from the hotel to the city centre areas and basilic (40mins-1hour) but each day came back by a local bus which was quite convenient. The location with this parking was quite perfect for a weekend visit.

Nothing major. For a 4* hotel I would perhaps expect some bottle(s) of water available in the room, but I later discovered there was dispenser available on the corridor (so good to have your own bottle).

Good place in Lyon

Easy access by public transport-excellent location in terms of the view (the two rivers). Nice and friendly staff. Make sure to book a room with river view-it’very beautiful especially during the night! Room temperature adjustment could be a bit better.

We had a very nice familys hort stay in Novotel. Very well connected to the Lyon city center by bus.

Very nice hotel with all the facilities and very nice personel.

More diversity in the restaurant.

The room was great.

The gym was really really tiny... with a limited equipment. Was hard to find the right spot in the parking lot which was close enough to get to the hotel. (we were lost as a matter of fact)

We spent just one night in order to rest on our way to home so didn’t have big expectations. Parking area was secure and good. Just in shopping mall so easy to eat outside, buy sthg from market.

Hated hairdryer (trying to dry my hair with my breath would have been more effective). The towels were very worn out.

Great location, with easy access to all main roads and motorways. Nice and clean and modern hotel with excellent secured parking. Clean, spacious and modern rooms. Great value for money. We had paid for breakfast which was amazing value and good quality with a fantastic selection.

We arrived at 10.30pm and there was nothing available to buy to eat. There are no vending machines and they have no 24hr room service or bar food service, literally nothing... this is really unusual for a 4* hotel and not great to be honest.

Good Confluence location, fresh, modern, clean.

Easy access by car. Good location for activities in the Confluence. Good staff. Nice breakfast in large bright dining area overlooking the river. Typical non-nonsense Novotel room.

AC system didn’t work properly so the room was too hot. We opened the windows but the roar of the AC machinery for the shopping mall below the hotel was too loud so spent a tropical night.

Calm, Clean and Spacious

The room was large, light, with a comfortable bed and good shower. There is no street noise, as the area is very quiet. The view of the river was very pleasant. Breakfast was varied, in a great restaurant with large windows overlooking the river. This restaurant became the dinner restaurant and a bar in the evening. The hotel is within a large shopping mall, which has many eating options, from fast food to more sit-down places, as well as all the shops. The location is good for some things and not for others, so it depends what you are in Lyon for. If you are here for tourism, it is fine as long as you get on top of the public transport system. There is a tran stop right outside the mall, so once you've worked out what sort of ticket you want--single trip, daily ticket or whatever--you can easily go wherever you want, and return to your large, quiet, modern room at the end of the day.

If you're a vegetarian, forget the hotel restaurant for dinner. There is one dish, overloaded with cheese. You can always eat in the Mall, but it's the coldest Mall I've been in I must say, open to the air in some sections, even if the restaurants are heated individually. But the greatest issue I found was that the room was so dark. The modernity of the chain extends to not imagining that anyone wants to read except on a screen. The tiny focus light over the bed works until you turn your body to the other side, while in the rest of the room the light is so dim you can forget reading documents, papers or a book. Of course, we all have alternatives nowadays, watching our streaming services or whatever, but I would have liked to be able to read the Short Stories in French that I brought with me.

Good location.

The hotel location was perfect to combine my business stay with some leisure activities. I really appreciated the friendly service provided by Ms. Juliette at the Front Desk, she managed to make my stay a perfect one.

Shortly after my check-in and while I was using the restroom, someone entered the room ( I assume from housekeeping) without knocking the door...This was not appropriate at all!
